Résumé

Avec la révision des nouveaux décrets d’agréments des établissements de formation en France, l’ostéopathie observe une recrudescence de l’intérêt institutionnel à son égard. Ainsi, ce volontarisme ministériel renforce sa présence dans le Code de santé publique. Or, rares sont les ostéopathes à connaître les enjeux de la santé publique. Cet article est une approche générale pour comprendre quelques-uns de ses mécanismes.

The recent publication of new decrees regulating osteopathic colleges in France shows an increasing institutional involvement toward Osteopathy. With the recent review of new decrees regulating osteopathic colleges in France, Osteopathy notes an increasing institutional involvement toward its recognition. Thus, the ministerial dynamics reinforces the existence of osteopathic medicine within the french Public Health Code. However, very few osteopaths are knowledgeable about the strategic issues of public health. This article is a general approach to the understanding of some of its mechanisms.
